Katie & Jordan

When I first started photography, my dream was to photograph a maternity shoot. Having had two babies myself, I wanted to help capture this special time for others. Each pregnancy is unique. Every woman is different. Our bodies are amazing.

I don't have the words to describe how I felt when Katie told me she was pregnant. I do know one of the first things I asked was if I could take her pictures.

You see, I have been lucky to know Katie all of her life. She came into my world 20 years ago and made me an Aunt for the first time. I remember meeting her, she was less than 1 day old. I remember getting to hold all 6lbs and 13oz of her. It was amazing, she was amazing. I fell in love on the spot!

We have done all sorts together over the years. We have been to parties, picnics and pantos. Had Harry Potter themed sleepovers, carved pumpkins & played dares. We have even seen One Direction - LIVE! I have literally watched her grow from a new born baby into a wonderful young woman.

So now, in just a few short days, Katie is going to make me a Gran Aunt. I still laugh at the idea, but I cannot wait. There are so many more memories to be made.

It was an honour to photograph Katie and her precious bump. Of course we couldn't leave the gorgeous Jordan out.

We kept it simple and headed just out the road to Brownsbarn Bridge. The colours were sensational and the couple were even more so.

They were besotted with each other. Jordan was very much in charge, mindful of Kaite and every step she took.

They were a joy to photograph. Just watching the way they look at each other, the way they supported each other, the way they made each other laugh. The Pure excitement any time they talked about becoming parents. The pictures speak for themselves.

It won't be long until we get to meet the little one. I simpily cannot wait.
