We hired Aoife as the photographer for our wedding on the January 7, 2022 in The Stephouse Hotel, Borris. Aoife travelled to Bunclody beforehand to capture all the special moments during all the morning preparations. Aoife is a true professional and is very passionate about her work and will not pass an opportunity to capture the right shot. Aoife went above and beyond anything we had expected so much so that she even assisted my beautiful wife Dee in getting into her wedding dress. We were visiting Ireland from America with our 3 month old son and wanted to get some family photos done while we were there. Aoife, came to our house for a communion shot with my son and niece, and our families, it was an amazing experience, she was so professional, and set up some amazing shots,with the kids and adults, she was very patient and attentive with us all, and upon receiving our photos we now see the amazing final pictures which were beyond our wildest dreams,they are just beautiful and will be cherish for every more in our houses. Despite having a deep-seated phobia of having my photograph taken, I enjoyed every moment of our photo shoot with Aoife. Pretty fantastic photographer. I had a great laugh during the shoot. I asked for some graduation pics to be done, but aoife really surprised me with her enthusiasm and creativity. She had ideas I would never have thought of. Like so many, my grad was on zoom soi wasn't sure if I'd bother getting professional pics done. Now I'm thrilled I did. Because of her way of doing things... it was like an event to top off my zoom grad and make the day very special indeed. I couldn't say enough good things about her. She's very talented. Aoife is just amazing at what she does and an amazing person. After seeing my photos, I feel so much more confident in myself. I do struggle with confidence and when getting my photos taken I felt at the start all I could think about was how the photos were going to turn out but Aoife makes you forget all about that naturally. I contacted Aoife recently to see if she would be interested in photographing my family and our family pet dog Coco along her puppies. It was a big ask, but Aoife was very enthusiastic, up for the challenge!
For us it was very important that we found the right person to work with. From the get go Aoife, was fun, calm, relaxed whilst remaining utterly professional. We all had fun and really enjoyed the shoot, capturing some really special and beautiful photographs. Gorgeous memories. When Aoife returned the finished prints to me, I was completely blown away, life is so short and I was so thankful to have this treasured collection of photographs with my number one people. “Priceless gift” – our mother’s words on receipt of her very special birthday present. Aoife recently photographed our extended family as a birthday surprise for a very special grandmother. We cannot recommend Aidona Photography highly enough. The group ranged in age from new-born to 12 yrs, which in itself presented a few challenges …. Not for Aoife though. Her relaxed and friendly demeanour put the children and adults alike at ease and after a rocky start (down to a 3 yr old not wanting to participate) Aoife truly captured their unique personalities and created the most wonderful pictures that our mother will treasure for many years to come. She went over and above to ensure we had the images within a short period of time and they came beautifully presented in a handcrafted wooden gift box.
