The Ultimate Staycation

We are taking the term "Staycation" quite literally and are holidaying at home, in our back garden!!

The children are loving sleeping outside "in the wild". There is so much to explore within driving distance, have you been to the Copper Coast in Waterford or Wells House in Gorey? We are able to support local business, Prendergasts Butchers in Thomastown are the best for burgers for the bbq, while The Old School House Cafe in Inistioge is great for a treat. I am surprised how much it feels like a holiday. There are no parking fees, flights to catch, hotels to book into. The grown ups are still able to work, we can see family and friends and, as these pictures prove, a homemade "hottub" filled from the shower with healthy dollop of bubbles is just as much fun as an outdoor pool in Cost Del Sol.
